Exhibition tickets
What is timed-ticketing?
Timed ticketing is used for all ticketed exhibitions at QAGOMA, it manages the flow of visitors though the space and avoids overcrowding. Sessions are every 15 minutes from 10.00am to 4.00pm daily, the session time printed on your ticket allows for a 15 minute entry window.
How long can I stay in the exhibition?
Once you have entered the exhibition you are free to stay as long as you like in the space. For our ticketed exhibitions, we recommend approximately one hour.
Can I visit more than once with my ticket?
Timed-entry tickets are single entry. There is no ‘exit’ time, but we recommend at least one hour to enjoy the exhibition.
For a flexible ticket option, Flexi Pass tickets are available for purchase online. Flexi passes can be used by a single ticketholder for multiple entries on the date of visit.
Multi Passes
A Multi Pass entitles a single person to 5 entries for a specific exhibition. The identification card that the holder used to validate the Season Pass must be shown each time the Multi Pass is used.
Multi Passes are not valid for Special Events, such as GOMA Friday Nights, and are not transferrable to any other person than the Multi Pass holder.
To access Multi Pass select ‘buy a multi pass’ from the ticket page.
Visitors can upgrade their single-entry ticket to a multi pass by visiting the Ticket Desk on the same day of their visit.
Can I purchase tickets as a gift?
Currently we do not have gift tickets available, however, tickets can be used by anyone, regardless of who purchased them, so purchasing tickets and forwarding them as a gift is very easy.
Simply select a date and time when you purchase, this can then be changed by the recipient by following the reschedule link on the ticket confirmation email. Alternatively, Multi Passes do not require a date and time to be selected when purchasing, or our gift Memberships include a free exhibition ticket that can be used at any time.
How do I book a group?
To book a group of 8 or more to see a ticketed exhibition, take advantage of the Groups 8+ price when selecting your tickets online.
If you’re a teacher, a tour operator, representing a not-for-profit community association, private organisation or professional body, QAGOMA offers an exciting range of tours, programs and experiences. Visit Group Bookings for further details.
