About
This internship program is designed to promote, encourage and advance the development of best practice with regard to the visual arts in Queensland. Through the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art (QAGOMA) Art as Exchange program it has become evident that there is a growing need for training and development opportunities for Indigenous Australian and Torres Strait Islander visual arts workers, and volunteers from Queensland regional art galleries.
The 2018–19 internship program is therefore offered to:
Internship Program 1
An Indigenous Australian or Torres Strait Islander visual arts worker from a Queensland regional art gallery.
Internship Program 2
A volunteer staff member from a Queensland regional art gallery.
Applications must be submitted using the form provided and be received at the Gallery via email or mail by the closing date.
