About

'Director Ivan Sen used actual residents from the community of Toomelah to play versions of themselves rather than professional actors to create a documentary-style realism. It touches on all the issues explored in earlier documentaries and is quite bleak but provides a glimmer of hope in an optimistic conclusion which delivers a poignant message of cultural continuity.' — Archie Moore
